I've been waiting a litle while to be able to say this, but I'm really excited to announce that I've signed a television development deal on the Good Thief's Guide novels with eOne Entertainment. eOne are the production company behind, among many other things, HBO's Hung, Syfy's Haven (based on Stephen King's Colarado Kid), and ABC/Universal's Rookie Blue. Amazing to think there's a chance that Charlie and Victoria might make it onto TV!
Here's the official press release...

Thanks Julie, and great to hear from you. Will you be at CrimeFest this year?
Posted by: Chris Ewan | April 21, 2011 at 06:07 PM
No, and not Harrogate either. I'm getting boring in my old age! Have fun, though. You and Vincent will both have things to celebrate! :)

That's a shame, although I don't think I'll be at Harrogate, either. I'll have to celebrate with Vince in Bristol. Maybe next year?

Next year? You never know; it certainly would be good to catch up with you lot!

Yes, it would. I'll have to get Donna on the case
