Well, I feel like we ticked off all the Christmas traditions. No electricity on Christmas Eve, too much meat and chocolate on Christmas Day, a solid bout of flu on Boxing Day, and a four-hour stint in casualty on Sunday 28th waiting to find out if my wife had managed to break her ankle. Turns out she hasn't, though her foot is an alluring shade of black and has swollen to at least twice it's normal size. Still, I guess that's what you get for pulling Stephen King's MISERY out of the bag during the obligatory game of charades.
Here's to 2009!
"Charlie is an agreeable character and the caper itself most ingenious, and fans of Lawrence Block's Bernie Rhodenbarr series will find much to like in this adventure." The Denver Post
"The plotting and dialogue in this tale from British author Chris Ewan offers a treat for readers who like a dash of wit with their mystery." Mystery Scene Magazine
